Working Concept Plan
The experience this room is designed to create
58,000 Americans and 3 million Vietnamese die in a war the United States could not win and could not stop fighting. It tears American society apart — and forces a reckoning with the gap between what a nation says it stands for and what it actually does. That reckoning is still unfinished.
Present Vietnam War with historical clarity, human dignity, and enough context to understand causes, choices, consequences, and contested memory.
