The collection is already here. The building, the atmospheres, and the technologies that will bring it to life are what remain.
Many museums begin with an idea and spend decades building the collection to justify it. The Trois Museum begins with the opposite reality. The collection, the vision, and the conviction already exist. Nearly one million objects, gathered over more than fifty years, organized across a narrative arc that spans 4.5 billion years — from the molten Earth to the human future still being written.
A once-in-a-generation public museum can now be built because Charles has already spent a lifetime assembling the collection that gives it meaning. What remains is the land, the structure, and the founding partners who will help open it to the world.
Whatever you believe about how the world began, you are welcome here. Life’s mystery predates every theory of it.
The museum unfolds as a sequence of threshold environments, each carrying visitors through a larger human and planetary story.

From the birth of the earth to the rise of life, visitors encounter the earliest worlds through image, scale, heat, sound, and elemental atmosphere.

“Knowing what we know now, how would we rebuild our world?”
The Trois Museum is designed to awaken and inspire each individual to action. From the first threshold to the last, every room, every object, every carefully placed artifact is in service of a single experience: the feeling that you have walked through something real — and that it has returned you to yourself.
This is a museum about the past, Present, and Future — about what it means to be alive now, with full knowledge of where we came from. The history of the world is the context of every human life. The Trois Museum exists to make that context legible, felt, and unforgettable, honoring brilliant minds, past and present.
Every institution begins with a conviction. Ours is this: that knowing where we come from changes what we believe is possible.
The collection is here, in Texas — real, organized, and ready to walk through.
Charles and Rebecca welcome visitors to the working collection space, where fifty years of art, antiquities, and human memory are now gathered in one place. A private tour offers an honest look at one of the largest private collections in the world, and an unhurried conversation with the man who built it.
There are no expectations. Whether you come as a founding partner, a future collector, or simply a friend of the institution, you are welcome at the same door. The visit is the same. Every visitor is left in awe, and every visitor wants to help Charles complete his vision in one way or another.
Please come visit this summer.
Getting HereThe museum sits a little over two hours from both Austin and San Antonio international airports — an easy drive through the heart of Texas. For those flying privately, a public city runway just a few miles from the museum accommodates private aircraft.
